Education & Training The Training Department is responsible for maintaining records on current employees to ensure they maintain necessary certifications and provide advanced training to enhance employees’ knowledge and skills. This will increase employee productivity, effectiveness, and the ability to create partnerships with other agencies. In 2007 Spartanburg Public Safety employees attended over 2,900 educational opportunities. This training included a variety of opportunities from roll call training to advanced training at the FBI Academy.
