Transport & Court Security Unit The Transport and Court Security Unit is responsible for the transportation of prisoners and security of the Municipal Courtroom. The Transport Officer transported 952 prisoners during 2007 with no attempted or completed escapes. Improvements made during 2007 included enhanced screening and access control for the Municipal Courtroom by the addition of metal detectors and a part-time screener.
